
Ciara McCone
Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
Ciara is a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. She graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2009 with a BSc (Hons) in Speech Pathology and Psychology.
Ciara has full membership to the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and Health and Professions Council.
Ciara has recently left her role in the NHS for whom she has been working full time for 8 years. Ciara currently works in an ASD primary and secondary school. She provides SLT input to private clients at London Speech Therapy in the evenings and at weekends.
Ciara has extensive experience working with a varied paediatric caseload including children with special educational needs children as well as children that attend mainstream schools. Ciara has a keen interest working in early years and supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).
Ciara is trained in Attention Autism and PECS. She has experience in using a range of intervention approaches including SCERTS, PECS, the Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme, Word Aware, Colourful Semantics and PCI.
In her spare time Ciara enjoys organising a book club, playing netball, and spending valuable time with her friends and family.
