When you see “private speech therapy” and “Harley Street” it’s very easy to equate this to “too expensive for us” however we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by our School Fee Structure.
We currently provide therapy to more than 32 schools across London, Redbridge and Gravesend. These schools ‘buy in’ from two days per term to 6 days per week. Some buy in a regular day a week but will top when required for example to train up new staff, to assess a new intake or to complete annual review assessments and reports.
A typical ‘day’ of SLT from LST begins at 8.30am and finishes at 4pm at the school. The therapist will attend CPD training and meetings outside of these hours, but if they are required to use some school time, you will be reimbursed for any time missed. LST therapists use evidence based practise while also thinking outside the box to deliver effective therapy and to achieve the best outcomes with their clients. Our SLTs provide a range of services including:
- Formal and informal assessments
- Individual and group therapy sessions
- Team and parent training
- All (legally) required admin (e.g. case notes; report writing etc)
- Resource making
- Attending Team Around Child meetings and annual reviews
