Mairead is a Consultant Specialist Speech and Language Therapist and Director at London Speech Therapy.

She provides specialist intervention to our private adult and paediatric clients across London and internationally. Mairead has extensive experience in setting up and providing specialist intervention within Specialist Primary and Secondary settings. Mairead has a particular interest in ASD, SEMH and fluency.

She is experienced in providing medico – legal assessments, including providing reports for legal proceedings. Mairead has a wealth of experience working with clients with a range of speech and language difficulties and specialises most particularly in the areas of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and stammering.

She has postgraduate training in Attention Autism, VERVE, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Intensive Interaction, PECS, Makaton, SCERTS (Social Communication, Emotional Regulation and Transactional Support), Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA), APD Assessment & Intervention, Solihull, SOS Feeding, ADOS (Autism Diagnostic assessment), Core Vocabulary, PROMPT and PCI (Palin PCI Stammering Intervention). Outside of work, Mairead also loves to sing, travel and to spend time with her family back home in Ireland.
