Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
Melody graduated from University College London in 2009. Melody has over 12 years experience of working within Specialist provisions supporting clients with a wide spectrum of needs and ages. She has a particular interest for supporting neurodivergent individuals (especially Autism) with their communication, emotion and behavioural needs. Melody currently provides support to mainstream schools and individual families across Kent. She is passionate about developing skills that will enable clients to feel empowered and support their positive wellbeing. Melody has training and experience in a variety of therapy approaches, including VERVE, Intensive Interaction, Attention Autism, The Curiosity Programme, Makaton Level 2, Developing and Using Communication Books, Shape Coding, Colourful Semantics, Michael Palin PCI for Stammering, Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme, and Lis’n’ Tell interactive storytelling.
