Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
Emma qualified with a BSc in Speech and Language Therapy from Birmingham City University in 2009.
Emma has worked both in the NHS and within private practice. She has supported children and young people from ages 2- 18 years across a range of settings including Early Years services, mainstream schools, SEN schools and at home. Emma has had experience working with children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs including language delay, developmental language disorder, phonological difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.
Emma has completed additional training in PECS, PODD, Makaton, Intensive Interaction, Shape Coding, Word Aware. Emma is also a qualified Talkboost trainer.
Outside work, Emma enjoys going for walks, reading and spending time with family.
